Harthen Studios awarded Best of Los Angeles Project Wedding 2008

Wow!  So cool!  I think that the best part about this award is that it comes from YOU!  My brides & grooms :)

About the Award:

"As one of the top 5% of  wedding professionals in Los Angeles, your talent and professionalism has left a lasting impression on your clients and we are excited to award you this distinction!  Project Wedding is a vibrant online community started by a husband and wife to help couples find the best wedding professionals in their area.  Over 200,000 brides visit Project Wedding every month, and growth is rapidly accelerating.  Congratulations on your impeccable level of service and quality as voted on by your past clients."

Joseph & Margaret Wong - Founders, Project Wedding

awwwww ... thanks :)

p.s.

So .... I HATE getting my picture taken!  (which is why I try to make it as painless as possible for everyone in front of MY camera lens) ... anyway, every year my mother only asks for one thing for Christmas ... you guessed it - PICTURES!  I think photographers are kind of like the shoe cobbler guy - you know ... they have no shoes?!  Well, photographers are pretty much the same way - we have NO pictures of ourselves.  So I had Andy (my awesome shooting partner that shows up to all of your weddings with me) take me and my husband Eric out on a photo shoot.  THANK YOU ANDY!  You are the best!   My momma is gonna love these pictures!

Here is one of my favorite:
